LIVING OUT YOUR TRUEST IDENTITY.

Live beyond the opinion of men.

Matthew 16:13-14

[13]When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

[14]And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

Imagine JESUS deciding to abandon his ordained identity so he can fit into the narrative by acting as these great men.

You must first of all understand that people will always have an opinion about you.

I had people ask me if at all I have friends and talk to them because from their observations and perspective I am too quiet.

I also had people tagging me as a "talker" because from their distinct perspective I talk a lot.

Now these are two sharp contrasting and opposite personalities so how can I be both at the same time?

So just imagine me trying to react and adapt to the first perspective to live differently and out of nowhere the second perspective also pops up. That is some great chaos right there. If I want to live by the two, then it implies I will have to keep switching personalities. The root is that I have no identity and the end will be that I will have no identity of mine.

This is the key problem with most of us. We haven't settled to find out who we truly are. We don't have a discovered or unveiled identity of ourselves.

Most of us do things because people say we will succeed there or it will look good on us.

Some of us also look at what most people are doing and we follow. We just follow the direction of the wave without considering where it's taking us.

The reason for becoming seemingly stagnant, confused and failures most of the time is the loss and ignorance of identity.

If you don't know who you are, you won't know what you carry and if you don't know what you carry, you won't know what to do.

The foundation for what you do is who you are. If you miss out on who you are, you can settle for anything.

The reason why you'll see people moving from one profession to another every single time is just as the result of the loss of identity.

Most people are depressed because someone told them; "you won't amount to anything in this life."

Some have become grounded because they told them there's no possibility of rising from where they come from. What if you're the one to change the narrative?

It's sad how Masters have become Servants;

Saviors are living as the wounded;

Leaders have become the last men in the pew.

Strong men are living as weaklings;

Oh Gideon! Thou mighty man of valor, it is time to stop hiding, rise up and show up.

Why are you allowing men to water down your personality

Why are you putting yourself under unnecessary pressure?

Why bear a needless pain?

Don't let society define you.

Don't let people decide what you become.

Don't let the world define you!

You are unique: You have been fearfully and wonderfully made.

Walk in the consciousness that you are made in the very image and the likeness of God. You are not ordinary.

Your identity is not just from God but of God.

Align yourself in that unveiled identity and walk therein.

You are not a failure, you're not a bad person, you are not worthless.

You matter to God! If you matter to God, the only one who validates men why become bothered by what people say and think about you.

People can help, guide and shape your life notwithstanding.

But your true identity is with and of God.

Let God's picture of who you are be the ideal standard for your life.
