1 Samuel 13:10
(NKJV) Now it happened, as soon as he had finished presenting the burnt offering, that Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him.
One of the key factors that moves and will move God to kick men out of their offices is their impatience.
From verse 8 you will find out that Saul waited for Samuel for seven days but sadly he didn't endure till the arrival of Samuel.
The verse 10 says as soon as he had finished presenting the burnt offering, Samuel came. Saul could have kept/sustained his reign if he had waited a little longer. Though he waited, he lacked patience and endurance. Waiting and patience are not the same. One can wait but in a hurry and such a man can leave or take an action with a little external force. And that is exactly what we've seen with Saul. The waiting man must learn, possess and practice practice. He must have the spirit to endure until the promise is fulfilled. There are most of us that God has told us to wait on Him at a place until a promise is fulfilled in our lives yet out of impatience we have taken off without receiving those things.
Some of us would have been expressing better versions of who we are now if we had waited a bit more.
It may currently look as if He's not coming as promised. It may seem He is taking too long. I want you to know that just as He has said it, He will show up for you. Don't go ahead of Him. Stay a little long. Endure patiently till He comes. Your departure from the place of waiting could lead to either the delay or termination of what He has committed to you.
There are MANY DAYS but there's always THE DAY. It takes the congregated progressions of the engagements of the MANY DAYS to produce the EMERGENCE on THE DAY. It takes our patience and endurance through the many days for that day to come.
