There are times in your life where it seems as though nothing is working.
Well... The reality is that there's at least one thing that is working: Focus on that one, draw strength from it and engage it consistently.
Most of us become worried, confused and devastated because we feel we have come to a point of stagnation in our lives. It seems to us as though everything is working against us. You just don't know what to do.
The truth is that most times we focus on the wrong things. Most of us don't know what exactly we want to achieve so instead of pursuing what is essential to our lives, we rather focus and build around the wrong things.
It is possible for a good thing to be a wrong focus either per time or per the demands of purpose.
Typical example:
Marriage is a very good thing. A very good thing! But then there are people who haven't found themselves yet. They don't know exactly where they're heading towards in life. They are just not ready and prepared for it but they've given the entirety of their attention to a confused courtship. Such people would have their lives moving in cycles: They will always end up at where they started from and things will eventually frustrate them. So it will seem as though nothing is working.
At other times we want to do everything or many things at the same time. In this case once a few of them go wrong then frustration sets in then it seems as though our world is falling apart.
To come out of all these, you must come to the recognition that, it is impossible that nothing is working in your life. You are just not seeing it. There's at least one thing that is working. The way to come out of the confusion, stagnation and frustration is to identify that one thing that is working in your life. Build that particular thing. Work at it with your all. That is the escape route.
Expecting people to come to your aid will lead to disappointment. Work on yourself rather than expecting to get things from people.
SOMETHING IS WORKING IN YOUR LIFE!
You are not altogether finished.
Your life hasn't lost hope entirely.
There's a strand of life embedded within that one thing. Identify it, work on it and everything else will be lighted again.
