KEEP IT GOING!
The enemy of good is bad. The enemy of better is good. The enemy of best is better. Ultimately what fights your accessing and manifesting God is your best.
This is the breakdown: Most of us focus on bad incidents instead of shifting our focus to what will help us grow and improve. So instead of moving on and pursuing what will help our lives, we've got ourselves embedded in that pain, affliction, sorrow etc. Most people have missed out on good opportunities because they've got themselves glued to the evil that happened to them. It is time to move on. It may seem difficult but that's the way to go. You must let go and move on for good.
There's another class of people that after a good thing happens to them they don't press further. They don't stretch to obtain something higher than they've gotten. They just settle with that result meanwhile that is not all they could have achieved. It is good but you must press for the better and persevere to obtain your best.
There's something critical that we must consider here. Your best may be satisfying to you but it could be that it falls short of God's standard for you. God is not interested in your best, He wants His will to be done.
It could be that according to your current capacity, you're just able to support the closest people to you and because according to your remarks you're giving your all, you feel that's your best. The reality with God could actually be that you must be a source to cities: Not just a few people but many people. When you settle with your best, you hinder the intents and plan of God from finding expression and with that you even limit your access to the supplies of God. But then when you come to that reality and fully yield to God's plan, you come to the place of rest and you do most of the difficult things with ease.
This is ultimately not to kick against being content: It is to deal with complacency in your contentment.
